Why can't you play as Kronika in MK11? Kronika is not a playable character in MK11 at all. You can't play as her in the campaign and you can't play as her in the towers of time modes or arcade mode. She's purely there as the big bad for MK11.

To apply Augments in MK11, select the Gear piece that you want to augment. Then, select the augment that you want to slot in, and press X (on PS4, or whatever the equivalent on your platform is). Mind you, the augment has to be for that specific Gear; for example, with Sub Zero, you can’t slot in an augment meant for the ax into the mask slot.
