I'm totally down for that! I asked for assists but after posting I was discussing with my brother and he said the same, playing with no assists is better than playing with them and then not being able to turn them off because I'm used to them. Thanks for the quick answer.
An absolute garbage. I come from Assetto Corsa, ACC & Automobilista 2 with a T300 & Fanatec CSL LC pedals. Ten minutes test on the freeroam and a rally stage with 3 different era cars, were enough to uninstall it. Physics and ffb are non existent. In ffb there is just one force: self center aligning, so if u turn left, the wheel pulls you to
DiRT Rally 2.0. Hey guys. I recently got back into dirt rally and it's fantastic. But I'm noticing an issue where the road in the mid distance looks excessively blurry even for VR. It looks almost like an anisotropic filtering bug, or even like poor video compression as you would see on a YouTube video. Ive tweaked settings, turned off TAA and
Apperantly you can disable it in the assist settings, making it so your unable to change the view. Anyway, after som googling I found this out and changed it. I now happily drive in third person. #2. In Game: - Self Align Torque: 62 (about 5.0Nm) - Wheel Friction: for starters 31 (half of SAT-value but adjust lower/higher depending how wheel oscillates, if too much then put value higher, if not oscillating too much use lower value) - Tire Friction: 62. - Suspension: 37 (adjust more to your liking if needed)
Helps with a little bit of tyre slip feel, to sense the edge of grip. Set this high for better road surface feel. This is FFB for, game pad rumble effect only. Set this quiet low, as this FFB can be an interference if set to high, (reduces the cattle grid effect slightly).
Here's a list of the best assist settings for all classes!!! Hello all you Dirt Rally 2.0 lovers I've been busy making a list which settings I like to use for each class. I've done this for both the Rally classes Off-Road (Light/Medium/Heavy Gravel) and Rally Cross classes (Off-Road & On-Road)

This is a very important setting, which is how quickly to identify input. I use the value 10 because lower values influence unwanted movements (depends on the controller) For example that when the controller is on the table, inputs can be recognized, because is too sensible. The perfect value is from 10 up, but not too much!
